Here at Soft Spot Therapy Collective

We hold a deep awareness of the ways sociocultural stress, family of origin experiences, and trauma impact the mind, body and soul—especially for Black, brown, and queer folks. And support anyone wanting to move towards the life and relationships they desire through an integrative somatic trauma therapy approach.

What we believe

We all deserve space to slow down and reconnect with ourselves--no mater what we've learned.

[02]

What we’ve seen

Looking to our past and tending to the present  allows us to imagine & move towards a more aligned, whole, and fulfilling future.

Why we do this

Intentional exploration of ourselves, our relationships, and the systems we are a part of is necessary for healing and liberation.

Hi, I’m Nia!

(Your Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapist & Consultant )

A young picture of Nia with curly hair fro, wearing earrings and a blue floral dress, sitting in a yellow high chair, biting her thumb and eating yellow popsicle.

I am a Black queer Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that believes mental healthcare is essential for our individual and collective liberation.

My approach considers and explores the systems we are a part of (e.x. family, culture, social systems), strengthens or restores connection between mind and body, and allows for understanding what sits at the root of the challenges you navigate presently while finding a pathway forward.
